Carr-Gomm identity


National charity Carr-Gomm empowers clients disadvantaged through mental health issues, disability or personal crisis, giving them the support they need to live independently and fulfill their goals. Carr-Gomm’s identity had been created in the
80s, and had a rigid, construction-like feel to it: the new identity created by Sauce conveys the energy
of the organisation, and reflects the positive nature
of their work.

After creating the new identity for Carr-Gomm, we applied it to series of brochures aimed at the charity’s stakeholders. We photographed real service users against a projected backdrop, creating a library of distinctive visual images for Carr-Gomm to use in all their communications.

Carr-Gomm end of year accounts


Carr-Gomm needed their end of year financial accounts in a hurry, and Sauce put in the hours needed to turn the job round in record time. The day after the financial figures were signed off, Sauce delivered a number of digital copies of the report – just in time for the board meeting.

Carr Gomm ‘Having A Voice’ book


Carr-Gomm asked Sauce to produce a book, Having A Voice, for their clients. As it was a celebration of the charity’s 40th anniversary, and also encouraged clients to make themselves heard, we thought it would be good to involve them in marking the ruby anniversary. We asked them to take photos featuring the colour red, using disposible cameras donated by WH Smith.

Carr-Gomm exhibition stands


Sauce applied the new identity and photographic style we created for Carr-Gomm to modular exhibition stands. The new display materials enhance the charity’s visibility, and give Carr-Gomm the flexibility to adapt their presentation easily and inexpensively to suit the differing requirement for different events and spaces.

Smart Pack


Many of Carr-Gomm’s clients have learning and literacy difficulties, so when Sauce was asked to produce a series of reference guides, we made them short and simple, and, to keep them together and make them easier to access, we packaged them up in a nice little box.

Carr-Gomm Contact newsletter


Carr-Gomm produces a quarterly 16-page newsletter called Contact for their clients, many of whom have learning difficulties. The newsletters Sauce designs have a bright and friendly magazine-style that’s extremely accessible.
