CTC Cyclehero identity


A cinema campaign promoting cycling as a green and healthy form of transport, Cyclehero was inspired by both film trailers and the host of superhero movies on release at the time. We stylized the logo to give it the impact of a film title and created filmic ads that captured the imagination of the cinema audience.

Create a cinema campaign and supporting collateral, promoting cycling as a green, healthy alternative form of transport: that was the task given to Sauce by cycling advocacy group CTC. The DEFRA-funded film trailer grabbed the audience’s attention, showing them how to be environmental superheroes, without wearing their pants outside their tights.

As part of the campaign to get people out of their cars and onto their bikes, we produced the Cyclehero website, which has lots of background information, together with enticing competitions which are aimed at getting people involved.

CTC Cyclehero DVD


The DVD we produced for the Cyclehero campaign was presented by Adam Hart-Davis, and contained interviews, out-takes, and additional films by DEFRA, as well as the two versions of the cinema commercial.

CTC Cylehero exhibition stands


The Cyclehero campain promotes cycling as a green and healthy form of transport. To take advantage of the interest aroused in cycling by events such as the Tour de France, Sauce created exhibition stands that are easy to erect, quick to pack away, and light to carry, yet have enormous impact.
